latest virus threats, it must have the latest virus signature files installed.
The latest signature files for F-Prot Antivirus are dated 24 November 2008 for Application/Script viruses and Trojans, and 24 November 2008 for Document/Office/Macro viruses. If the virus signature files installed on your machine are older than this, F-Prot Antivirus may be unable to protect you against newer viruses. | You can test your antivirus program by downloading the so-called Eicar-file. You can download this file from http://www.eicar.com which is the only place you should download it from to be sure it is actually the eicar-test file. |
