| F-PROT Antivirus crashes while scanning my computer |
When the scanner has crashed you can run the OnDemand Scanner again, choose "Settings" and then "View".

The last file which is reported there is most likely the file which is causing these crashes. It is also possible that the file next to that one in the same folder is the cause of the problem. If you are able to find out what file is causing this please send us a zipped sample of it for analysis.
Then you should delete all the files and folders you find in there. You probably need to disable the RealTime Protector before deleting the files. You can do that by right-clicking on the blue F-StopW icon in the System Tray(bottom right) and choose "disable". Just remember to enable it afterwards. You also need to empty the Recycle bin to get rid of the files permanently.
