Please note that version 6 of F-PROT Antivirus for Windows has been released. We recommend that all Home, Corporate and Mail Server users of version 3 of F-PROT Antivirus for Windows upgrade their program to the newest version as soon as possible.
| When I start my computer a bubble appears that says F-PROT Antivirus is turned off |
The warning that says:
This warning only occurs when you have Windows XP with Service Pack 2. The Windows Security Center that runs as a background process and starts before the RealTime Protector does.
In version 3 of F-PROT Antivirus for Windows, as soon as the RealTime Protector's icon has appeared in the System Tray this bubble will disappear.
In version 6 of F-PROT Antivirus for Windows, as soon as the F-PROT Antivirus's icon appears in the system tray this bubble will disappear.
Please note that your computer is not at risk in spite of this message bubble if it only occurs at startup and disappears as soon as the RealTime Protector is activated.
