My laptop is unable to go to "Stand by" mode since I installed F-PROT Antivirus

The F-PROT Antivirus Update Monitor has been reported as a possibility that interferes with "Stand by" modes in lap tops. We recommend that you disable the F-PROT Antivirus Update Monitor if this problem persists.

To disable the F-PROT Antivirus Update Monitor, please change the service from automatic to manual.

When the service has been set to manual, it will not start up when you start the computer and should not interfere with the "stand-by" mode.
