|Why is the OnDemand Scanner not disinfecting in my e-mail Inbox?|
If you are using Microsoft Outlook or Netscape mail programs it is necessary to delete the infected files manually and select to “compact folders” (this depends on the program being used).
If you are only finding infection in the mailboxes then the system itself is probably not infected.See also:
