How to scan for viruses with the F-PROT Antivirus Command-Line Scanner

Note: Before you perform the command-line scanning, please make sure the program is running with the latest virus signature file.

To perform a command-line scan, go to the command prompt (click Start > Run > Type cmd) and locate where the program is installed. Then, at the command prompt type:

fpscan /all /disinfect

This command will scan all drives/shares including boot sectors with automatic disinfection. For further information, please refer to the command-line options of the F-PROT Antivirus Command-Line Scanner.
