| How to scan individual files or folders |
Scan individual files or folders to ensure they are clean from viruses, worms, Trojans and other malicious software. By default, F-PROT Antivirus disinfects the infected files upon detection and quarantines the uncleanable infected files.
To scan individual files:
- Right-click on a particular file to scan.
- Select Scan with F-PROT Antivirus from the drop-down menu. Then, F-PROT Antivirus scans the file immediately. When scanning is completed, if you would like to view the scan report, click Report.
- Right-click on a particular folder to scan.
- Select Scan with F-PROT Antivirus from the drop-down menu. Then, F-PROT Antivirus scans the folder immediately. When scanning is completed, if you would like to view the scan report, click Report.
