Please note that when the password protection is enabled, you may need to enter your current password to change your current program settings.

1. Run F-PROT Antivirus.
2. Click the Help menu.
3. Under Settings, select General.
4. From this window, do the following:

Password protection

• Check the Password protect settings check box to enable password protection.
• In Old password, enter your old password. If you are setting a password protection for the first time, please leave this option blank.
• In New password, enter your new password.
• In Confirm new password, re-enter your new password.
5. Click Save.

You may need to enter your current password to be able to disable password protection.
