To successfully download and install security updates, you have to enter a valid Subscription Key. All subscribers of F-PROT Antivirus as well as trial users of version 6 of F-PROT Antivirus also receives a trial subscription key which is valid only for 30 days.

The most efficient way to transfer your subscription key into the program is by using the "Copy & Paste" method to avoid typo errors.

To enter your subscription key in the program, do the following:

1. Run F-PROT Antivirus.
2. Click the Updates menu.
3. Under Subscription, select Status.
4. From this window, click the New Subscription Key button.
5. Enter your Subscription Key in the box. If you use the "Copy" method on your subscription key then click the Paste key button to transfer the keys (see below).



6. Click OK.

You can also use the "Get new key" function within the program so F-PROT Antivirus will retrieve your subscription key in the Customer Zone and add it automatically in the program. Do the following:

1. Run the program.
2. Click Update menu > Renew subscription > Get new key. If new subscription found then your subscription key will be automatically added in the program.
