| How to check for updates |
You may check for available updates manually to ensure that F-PROT Antivirus is running with the latest versions such as the program version, scanning engine, and the virus signature file. If updates are available, F-PROT Antivirus will download and install the latest updates immediately.
To check for updates:
- Run F-PROT Antivirus.
- Click the Updates menu.
- Under Updates, select Current versions.
- In the Current versions window, click Check for updates.
- Click Close.
