| What automatic scanners do when they detect infected files? |
By default, the automatic scanners will automatically disinfect infected/suspicious files upon detection without user interaction. However, you may also set these automatic scanners to wait for your permission to disinfect them. Please note that all uncleanable files are being quarantined to avoid spreading the infection. For instructions on setting up the automatic scanners, see How to set up the automatic scanners.
Below are examples on the scanning action of the automatic scanners.
The automatic scanners are set to "Automatically disinfect" (default).A window appears on screen displaying all infected/suspicious files found. These files are automatically disinfected without user interaction (see below) (see below).
A window appears on screen displaying all infected/suspicious files found. These files are waiting for your permission to disinfect them. To disinfect these files, check the box for each infected file and click Disinfect (see below).
