Please note that version 6 of F-PROT Antivirus for Windows has been released. We recommend that all Home, Corporate and Mail Server users of version 3 of F-PROT Antivirus for Windows upgrade their program to the newest version as soon as possible.


Can F-PROT Antivirus send a notice to senders of infected e-mails?

As most mass-mailing worms today falsify the "From" address of infected e-mails, such notices are unlikely ever to reach the true sender. In addition, mass mailers can cripple networks by flooding them with e-mail and automatic replies to each of these messages would double the problem.

For this reason we do not provide this option in any of our products.
