2. Click the Processes tab.
3. On the Processes tab, click FProtTray.exe, and then click End Task or End Process.

Restarting FProtTray.exe with Windows Task Manager

The most convenient way to restart FProtTray.exe is to restart your computer. However, if you do not want to restart, follow the procedure below.

1. To open Windows Task Manager, right-click an empty space on the taskbar, and then click Task Manager.
2. On the Applications tab, click New Task. New Task is identical to the Run command on the Start menu.
3. In the Open box, type C:\Program Files\FRISK Software\F-PROT Antivirus\FProtTray.exe (default location). If the program is installed in different location, click Browse to search for it.
4. Click OK.
