When trying to install F-PROT Antivirus, you may receive the following message (see below):

The workaround for this issue is to install F-PROT Antivirus at the command-line with the silent switch. Please use the following command:

msiexec /i <filename.msi> /qn+

If this does not work, please reinstall F-PROT Antivirus at the command-line with the log switch. Please use the following command:

msiexec /i <filename.msi> /lv C:\fpav_install.log

You may send the log file name "fpav_install.log" located in drive C at support@f-prot.com so we can diagnose the installation error properly.

You may also consider reinstalling the VBScript from the Microsoft website. Click here to download and reinstall Microsoft® Windows® Script containing Visual Basic® Script Edition (VBScript.) Version 5.6, JScript® Version 5.6, Windows Script Components, Windows Script Host 5.6, and Windows Script Runtime Version 5.6.
