Please note that version 6 of F-PROT Antivirus for Windows has been released. We recommend that all Home, Corporate and Mail Server users of version 3 of F-PROT Antivirus for Windows upgrade their program to the newest version as soon as possible.

When I start my computer a bubble appears that says F-PROT Antivirus might be out of date

The warning that says:

This warning only occurs when you have Windows XP with Service Pack 2. The Windows Security Center that runs as a background process, constantly checking the status of F-PROT Antivirus. When the program is not running the latest virus signature files, the Windows Security Center will notify you that F-PROT Antivirus might be out of date.

To fix this issue, please update the virus signature files immediately.
