Unable to disinfect / delete the infected files

If F-PROT Antivirus does not disinfect / delete the infected files, the problem may be one of the following:
  1. You may not have write access to the infected file
  2. The infected file may be an archive. F-PROT Antivirus does not support extracting file objects from archives, disinfecting them and then re-inserting them into the archive.
  3. If the infected file is an Office document the file will not be deleted. This is to avoid any possible loss of work.
