2.3 Location of installed files
F-PROT Antivirus has all of its files in one directory called f-prot/. For the deb and rpm packages, that directory will be installed under /usr/local/. We recommend users of the tarball do the same. An installation script included with the tarball should also install the directory to /usr/local/. The deb and rpm packages additionally have some symbolic links for manual pages and runtime files. These are not documented in the list below.
