| My customer number is not working. Why? |
There are a number of possibilities why your Customer Number might not be working. The most common possibilities are:
Please make sure you have entered your Customer Number correctly. Please note that your Customer Number contains both letters and numbers, so e.g. 0 (zero) and O (capital o) can look similar. We recommend that you copy the Customer Number directly from the e-mail confirmation and paste it into the appropriate field. When your subscription expires your Customer Number becomes invalid. To reactivate your subscription, please renew. If, however, you have just renewed your subscription and your Customer Number still doesn't work, please refer to section 3 here below. During the on-line renewal process you are asked to enter your Customer Number. If you fail to do so, you are considered a new customer and a new Customer Number is automatically generated for you. The old Customer Number is therefore not renewed and becomes invalid after its subscription has expired. Please refer to the Customer Number that is included in the latest e-mail confirmation you received from our sales department. If you are using F-PROT Antivirus for Windows, Home Use version, then it is most likely that the Customer Number stated in your Updater is incorrect. You can change this by clicking on "settings" in the Updater, where you can enter the correct Customer Number. If you are still having problems with your Customer Number then please contact our sales department. See also:
