5:6 - The Message Quarantine

The first time you enter the Message Quarantine through a link sent to you as a notice of a modified message, the F-PROT AVES system will ask you to log in. Enter your e-mail address and click the button offering to send you a password. You will receive a password a short while later in e-mail and can then log in to the F-prot AVES center and view unmodified messages.

The message Quarantine is very similar to an e-mail Inbox except that it only stores messages that F-PROT AVES has changed in some way. The sanitized messages you receive have been cleaned according to your active policy but the original unmodified messages are stored in the Quarantine until they expire (usually 60 days later). This allows you to easily recover messages mistakenly blocked by the generic mail sanitizer or the antivirus engine.
