Although you can reroute the unsolicited e-mail straight to the "Deleted items" folder, it may be wise to start by creating a special spam folder within your Inbox. This is due to the fact that there is always the chance that an e-mail, which is not unsolicited, can be marked as such if it has some characteristics of spam. This is how you create a new folder named "Spam" in Outlook.
Run Microsoft Outlook. Once you have opened the program right-click on your Inbox and select "New folder" from the drop-down list:
A panel appears, which offers you to put in details about the new folder:
Type the word "Spam" in the "Name" field and select "Ok". Now you should see a new folder in your Inbox called Spam:
