The F-PROT AVES service will not effect any existing antivirus protection customers may be using. Not all desktop antivirus solutions scan all incoming e-mail attachments from all e-mail systems. It is also recommended that you have desktop antivirus protection in addition to the F-PROT AVES service to have the best chance of catching and cleansing malicious code. However, antivirus software will not help reduce unsolicited e-mail. |
