If a message receives a high score from the spam filters then F-PROT AVES modifies the Subject line so that it starts with "[Might be spam]". E-mail programs, such as Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express, have a built-in mail rule function that can be used to filter and sort incoming mail. Using these mail rules you can send all spam into a special spam folder, or send it straight to the trash ("Deleted Items" in Outlook and Outlook Express). |
