There are many different levels of protection in the F Prot AVES Service but if you have default settings
then F-PROT AVES will check and modify your e mail as follows:
- All worms will be blocked.
- All infected attachments will disinfect (all un-disinfectable attachments will be
replaced with text messages.
- All executable attachments (programs) will be removed and replaced with text messages.
Normal safe attachments, such as documents and pictures that are not executables are
not removed but rather delivered immediately to you.
- All e-mail definitely identified as spam will be blocked.
- All e-mail that might be spam is delivered with the Subject line that starts with [Might be spam].
- All other messages are delivered immediately.
