| How will I know that F-PROT AVES is protecting my e-mail account? |
Each customer will receive a username and password to view their individual profiles via a secure web-interface. These user-profiles will provide details and statistics on each user's mail, including any mail that has been blocked that contains a virus or Spam. For spam, the action taken will depend on what level of protection you have set in your individual profile (high, medium or low). The default setting is medium. The mail will be marked as suspected spam and sent to your mailbox. You can also test the F-PROT AVES service by sending the EICAR test file to your e-mail address. You should receive a modified version of the e-mail including a message saying that the original message was infected with the EICAR antivirus test file. |
