RSS and Atom news feeds make it easy for people to subscribe to websites and be notified as soon as they are updated.

Recent versions of standard web browsers offer feed subscription features. In these browsers subscribing is as simple as clicking on one of the feed links or the orange feed icon in the browser toolbar.

Firefox 2, Opera 9 and Internet Explorer 7 are free and come highly recommended by FRISK Software staff.

FRISK Software now offers the alerts for virus signature file updates as RSS feeds (see below).
