Microsoft Security Bulletin Summary for June reports the release of eight patches rated "critical", three rated "important" and one rated "moderate". An end-user version of this update summary is also available.
This month's security bulletins report 12 different vulnerabilities affecting a number of different Microsoft applications, in addition to Windows, including Internet Explorer, Outlook, Word, Power Point, Windows Media Player and more. All but two of these vulnerabilities could allow for remote code execution on affected computers.
Users are advised to patch their systems against these vulnerabilities immediately. Patches can be downloaded via links posted within the appropriate Security Bulletins and by visiting Microsoft Update.
