Microsoft Security Bulletins for April 2006
Microsoft Security Bulletin Summary for April reports the release of three patches rated "critical", one rated "important" and one rated "moderate".
Microsoft Security Bulletin MS06-013 provides a critical cumulative security update for Microsoft Internet Explorer while Microsoft Security Bulletin MS06-014 announces the release of a critical patch against a vulnerability in the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) that could, if exploited, allow for remote code execution by an attacker. Microsoft Security Bulletin MS06-015 provides a patch against a vulnerability in Windows Explorer that could also allow for remote code execution on unpatched machines.
Users are advised to patch their systems against these vulnerabilities immediately. Patches can be downloaded via links posted within the appropriate Security Bulletins and by visiting Microsoft Update.
We recommend that users patch their systems by downloading and installing critical Microsoft updates as soon as possible.
