F-PROT Antivirus for Windows 6.0.9.3

FRISK Software has released F-PROT Antivirus for Windows 6.0.9.3

Version 6.0.9.3 includes mainly bug fixes, in the scanning engine and to improve the communication between F-PROT Antivirus and Windows Security Center. The scanning engine is updated to version 4.5.1 and restarting the systems may be required when the update is complete.

Updating F-PROT Antivirus

F-PROT Antivirus for Windows, the Internet Update version, will now be automatically updated to version 6.0.9.3. Users that have the 64-bit version will also be updated automatically. F-PROT Antivirus will ask the user to restart his/her system if that is required.

For users of the LAN update versions, the updated installation packages are now available for download in the Customer Zone. We strongly recommend that our users update to this new version as soon as possible, for improved protection and stability.
