F-PROT Antivirus – Updated Scanning Engine and More

FRISK Software has released version 6.0.8.0 of F-PROT Antivirus for Windows.

This is a major upgrade to the entire scanning engine as well as a comprehensive behind-the-scenes improvement.

In addition to minor changes to the user interface this release features a substantially higher overall level of quality and an even better heuristics detection rate.

Microsoft Vista support, although improved, is still only in beta.

We recommend that users of F-PROT Antivirus for Windows update their programs to versions 6.0.8.0.
