Michael St. Neitzel

"As new computer viruses and other malware continues to appear at an ever-increasing rate, the demand for fast and accurate information on those threats keeps increasing as well.

In order to better provide our customers and others with the required information, we have appointed a technical spokeperson, who will handle press releases, white papers and other similar material.

Fortunately we were able to find a person with the right combination of experience and qualifications for this task."

Friđrik Skúlason, Founder of FRISK Software International.

Michael has been working in Antivirus Research since 1991 when he began to explore Commodore Amiga Viruses. He had already at that time published open source assembly listings for disinfections in the Amiga Special Magazine. Around 1994 he switched to IBM PC and began his career in reverse engineering and development.

Since then he has worked continuously in the computer security field, including executive management for several Security Vendors based in Asia. Michael also works on FRISK's engine development, in particular the heuristics detection features of F-PROT Antivirus.

FRISK Software International is a leading developer of anti virus software and anti spam filtering services. FRISK Software International's anti virus computer software, F-PROT Antivirus, is available for a number of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, BSD, Solaris, and AIX as well as the Microsoft Exchange groupware. The company also offers F-PROT AVES, the anti spam and anti virus filtering service.
