New versions of F-Prot Antivirus for UNIX released
FRISK Software has released versions 4.6.3 of F-Prot Antivirus for Linux x86, for BSD x86, for Solaris SPARC, for Solaris x86, for AIX on IBM pSeries and for Linux on IBM zSeries.
Versions 4.6.3 of F-Prot Antivirus for UNIX include improved handling of corrupt files and significantly reduced scan time on big-endian platforms, in particular Solaris SPARC. In addition, versions 4.6.3 also scan zip files falsely claiming to use 64-bit compression methods, thereby fixing a minor vulnerability recently discovered in previous versions.
