Version 3.16d of F-Prot Antivirus for Windows

FRISK Software has released version 3.16d of F-Prot Antivirus for Windows.

Version 3.16d of F-Prot Antivirus for Windows introduces a number of important bugfixes, tweaks and optimisations. This newest version includes improved handling of corrupt files and enhanced scanning methods. In addition, version 3.16d also scans zip files falsely claiming to use 64-bit compression methods, thereby fixing a minor vulnerability recently discovered in previous versions.

All users of F-Prot Antivirus for Windows are advised to update their program to version 3.16d as soon as possible.
