New version of F-Prot Antivirus released

Version 1.1.5 of F-Prot Antivirus for Exchange has been released

FRISK Software has released version 1.1.5 of F-Prot Antivirus for Exchange.

This new version of F-Prot Antivirus for Exchange is released in response to the vulnerabilities reported in Microsoft's monthly Security Bulletins for September.

Microsoft Security Bulletin MS04-28 reports a buffer overrun vulnerability that could allow for remote code execution on an affected system. The vulnerability involves JPEG processing technology and affects software that supports the JPEG image format. This new version of F-Prot Antivirus for Exchange provides protection against malicious code taking advantage of this vulnerability.
