New versions of F-Prot Antivirus for all UNIX based platforms released.

FRISK Software has now released new versions of F-Prot Antivirus for all UNIX based platforms. The version number of F-Prot Antivirus for Linux x86, for BSD x86, for Solaris SPARC, for Solaris x86, for AIX on IBM pSeries and for Linux on IBM zSeries is now 4.4.4

These newest versions of F-Prot Antivirus for all UNIX based platforms include minor bugfixes that allow for more efficient and effective handling of the most recent variants of worm executables spreading within password protected ZIP archives. As a result, users of F-Prot Antivirus for all UNIX based platforms can rest assured in the knowledge that their systems and their data enjoy the most up-to-date protection and security available.

We recommend that users of F-Prot Antivirus for Linux x86, BSD x86, Solaris SPARC, Solaris x86, AIX on IBM pSeries and Linux on IBM zSeries systems update their programs to these newest versions as soon as possible.
