New version of F-Prot Antivirus released

Version 4.3.0 of F-Prot Antivirus for BSD released

Version 4.3.0 of F-Prot Antivirus for BSD has been released. This newest version of F-Prot Antivirus for BSD now includes a new plugin for enhanced in-transit scanning of e-mails using Sendmail / libmilter in addition to the plugins for use with Postfix and Qmail that were added in version 4.2.0. These latest improvements allow for the automatic feeding of incoming e-mails through the F-Prot Antivirus mail scanner when using Sendmail / libmilter. This results in a more efficient setup procedure as well as greatly enhanced end-user security.

This addition provides for improved usability of F-Prot Antivirus for BSD as well as increased system protection. We recommend that users of F-Prot Antivirus for BSD using Sendmail consider using the plugin provided with version 4.3.0.
