New version of F-Prot Antivirus released

Version 4.2.0 of F-Prot Antivirus for BSD released

Version 4.2.0 of F-Prot Antivirus for BSD has been released. This newest version of F-Prot Antivirus for BSD now includes plugins for enhanced in-transit scanning of e-mails using Postfix and Qmail. These improvements allow for the automatic feeding of incoming e-mails through the F-Prot Antivirus mail scanner. This results in a more efficient setup procedure as well as greatly enhanced end-user security.

These additions provide for improved usability of F-Prot Antivirus for BSD and enhanced end-user security. We recommend that users of F-Prot Antivirus for BSD using Postfix or Qmail consider using the plugins provided with version 4.2.0.
