New BETA version of F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris x86 released

As part our continued efforts to develop our products and provide a better service to our customers FRISK Software International has now released version 4.2.1-BETA-2 of F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris x86. Combined with the release of version 4.2.1-BETA-2 of F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris SPARC earlier this week, this completes the addition of a fully featured mail scanner to all the newest BETA versions of F-Prot Antivirus products for Solaris systems.

Sun Microsystems' Solaris operating system is used on high-end servers and high-end workstations. It combines traditional OS functionality, application services and identity management, based on the Sun ONE software architecture. With the release of version 4.2.1-BETA-2 of F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris x86, FRISK Software has enhanced the protection it provides all of its Solaris customers, allowing for confident e-mail use with the now fully featured mail scanner included.

F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris x86 4.2.1-BETA-2 is now available to download and test from our BETA software section. As with every BETA product, users should keep in mind that this is a pre-release version, to be evaluated and used at the user's own risk. Feedback is much appreciated and should be sent to
