BETA version of F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris 4.2.0 released

FRISK Software International has released a BETA version of F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris, designed to run on Sun Microsystems' Solaris operating system. F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris 4.2.0-beta-1 is available for both Solaris operating system for SPARC platforms and for the Solaris operating system for x86 platforms.

Sun Microsaystems' Solaris operating system is used on high-end servers and high-end workstations. It combines traditional OS functionality, application services and identity management, based on the Sun ONE software architecture. It is available for both the UltraSPARC processor and x86 processor-based systems. Bringing the reliable protection of F-Prot Antivirus to a system running Solaris, whether a server or a workstation, is a valuable addition to one of the most powerful platform in the world.

F-Prot Antivirus for Solaris 4.2.0-beta-1 is available now to download and test from our BETA software section. As with every BETA product users should keep in mind that this is a BETA version is to be evaluated and used at the user's own risk.
