This document describes the changes in the software since F-PROT
Antivirus 6.0.7.1


MAJOR ENHANCEMENTS
------------------

Engine:
- Various improvements to the "Eldorado" heuristic engine [...]
- Performance improvements which increase scanning speed of W32
  binaries.
- Faster loading of DEF files in some implementations.
- Improves handling of UPX-packed files.
- Changes handling of .ZIP files, so they are found if some junk
  is prepended [...]

User interface:
- Option to remove or restore multiple items from the quarantine
  (we are working on this functionality for Rescan as well)
- Speedup in the scanning and communication with the FPAV service
- Robustness of the service and the GUI, e.g. the menu on the left
- Several installer-related issues
- Bug-report feature. If something unforeseen happens, the GUI
  will offer the user to send a bug-report to us. No information
  gets sent without the user's consent.

MINOR ENHANCEMENTS AND BUGFIXES
-------------------------------

Engine:
- Several minor changes which improve performance or detection
  ability.
- Improves the detection of the CVE-2006-3059 exploit.
- Fixes vulnerability involving specifically crafted PNG files.

User interface:
- Restructuring of some GUI elements according to user feedback
- Lots of minor bug fixes
