This document describes the changes in the software since F-Prot
Antivirus 3.12.


MAJOR ENHANCEMENTS
------------------

Version 3.12a includes a new scanning engine.  With the latest virus
signature files F-Prot Antivirus detects almost 65,000 viruses and
Trojans.


OnDemand Scanner
----------------

The scanning options "Archives" and "Compressed Files" have been 
merged into a single "Compressed Archives" option.  This switch
controls whether archives such as .ZIP, .RAR, .TAR and .GZ are
scanned or not (the list above is not exhaustive).

The display of the date of the virus signatures has been changed
to match the Updater.

Fixed a bug that occurred while scanning a single archive.

Fixed a bug that would cause the OnDemand Scanner to crash when
being closed.
