This document describes the changes in the software since F-Prot
Antivirus 4.4.1.


MAJOR ENHANCEMENTS
------------------

This new version 4.4.2 contains further improvements of scanning
of password encrypted zip files.

Wrapping of the fopen64 system call has been added to F-Prot
Antivirus Preloadable Library Call Wrapper (f-prot.so) so now files
are scanned when the following function calls are used: open, fopen,
open64 and fopen64.

All installation instructions have been moved into the HTML 
documentation and the INSTALL file has been removed.  The HTML 
documentation is a part of the package but it is also available at
http://www.f-prot.com/support/helpfiles/unix/

MIME parsing has been improved to better handle some non-standard
e-mail messages that some worms send.
