This document describes the changes in the software since F-Prot
Antivirus 3.12a.


MAJOR ENHANCEMENTS
------------------

Version 3.12b includes a new scanning engine.  With the latest virus
signature files F-Prot Antivirus detects almost 69,000 viruses and
Trojans.


Daemon Scanner
--------------

Added the ability to bind f-protd to a specific IP address.

Added a "-background" switch that causes the daemon to fork itself
into background.

Fixed a bug that prevented files in the root directory from being
scanned.


Command Line Scanner
--------------------

Fixed a bug that prevented files in the root directory from being
scanned.
